Songbirds

The detailed birds are made of Tupelo wood and have all features carved and textured. They are painted with acrylics. Habitat is handmade from wood, brass and copper.

Bluebirds

Eastern Bluebirds are plentiful on Cape Cod. These young fledgling bluebirds still have the speckled breast typical of thrushes and their tails are still short. The heart shape of the tops of their heads is repeated in the stylized mahogany base. This pair won 1st in Advanced Songbirds at the Ward World competition.
